Pastor Stéphane Chauvette
Pastor Stéphane Chauvette is a Canadian Evangelical pastor, author, historian, musician, graphic designer, radio broadcaster and television host. He is the Senior Pastor of New Beginnings Church in LaSalle (Montréal), Québec, the host of the television program A Word For Today, and the founder of Moriah Publications.
Life and ministry
Pastor Chauvette served as Associate Pastor of New Beginnings Church for twenty-five years before Pastor Russell and Mimi LeGassick transferred the leadership of the church to him on June 16, 2013. His messages have been broadcast on Christian radio for more than three decades, in both French and English, and he has preached more than 5,000 sermons.
His television outreach, A Word For Today, airs on several networks across Canada and is the source of his best-known book, The Five Ways, on the five ways the Lord speaks to His people.
Trained in graphic design, he founded the design company CommUnivers in 1986 and Moriah Publications Inc. in Montréal on August 28, 1996. Moriah Publications publishes his own books and holds worldwide exclusivity over the writings of Dr. Alex W. Ness and Dr. Paul G. Trulin. He designs the covers of the books he publishes.
