Dr. Charles S. Price

Dr. Charles S. Price (1887 to 1947) was an evangelist known for his simple preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom and for the analogies with which he opened up the Word of God. Thousands were transformed through his ministry, including in the Canadian campaigns of the 1920s.

Life and ministry

Dr. Price believed that faith is a living thing that can only come from God. He cautioned against any teaching that tries to manipulate the mind into "believing", and his messages return again and again to the sufficiency of Christ.

His campaigns drew large crowds across the western United States and Canada; the photograph of Dr. Price in Edmonton, Alberta in 1923 is one of the images Moriah Publications holds from that period.

Made Alive, first published in 1945, is the classic teaching in which Dr. Price shows how the Holy Spirit grants the believer a greater revelation of Jesus. Moriah Publications publishes it in a new edition.
